One of my specialties is the ability to quickly understand business information and convert it into engaging, valuable and branded content.
This site showcases the work I did as a business editor and writer in Vietnam. Vietnam's evolution toward capitalism is a strange and alluring story. As co-founder of The Vietnam Business Journal, a U.S. business magazine, I lived in Hanoi for three years and watched this tale unfold, month by month.
I was successful at gathering information from a variety of sources, CEOs and tax specialists to Communist ideologues, then crafting it as a writer and an editor. I also identified and motivated industry experts to prepare articles based on their insight, then carefully edited their work into some of the magazine's most popular features.
This strategy made ours an authoritative, distinct voice, which won loyalty from our important audience: Fortune 500 execs and related decision-makers. Now I aim to translate business content to the Internet platform, making best use of this medium. The advantages of using Internet technologies for the corporation are salient and logical. However, the ability to use this new medium effectively requires an uncommon combination of creativity, skills and experience -- abilities which I have worked hard to refine.
For me, combining mediums and content to produce a dynamic product with a single, strong voice is today's great opportunity. |
